How to Unlock Gold Camo in Modern Warfare 2

Weapon Camouflage, or Camo, is a color pattern applied to a weapon.

This will allow your weapon to blend into the environment or display your achievements.

In some Call of Duty games, the camouflage is unlocked with shots to the head.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops, they can be purchased for 250 points each.

However, Gold Camouflage costs 50,000 points and it is available after you increase your prestige 14 times.

In MW2, camo can be unlocked by completing challenges such as headshot, single shot, or plane destruction.

In this guide you will learn how to unlock the Gold Camo for all weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (MW2).

What is the golden camo in MW2?

The Gold Camo in the MW2 is an all-gold camouflage.

It’s one of 4 completed camos in the game.

The other 3 are Platinum, Polyatomic and Orion.

Gold Camo Challenge is available for every weapon including M4, RPG, Lockwood 300 and others.

To unlock the Golden Camo in Modern Warfare 2, you need to complete all the basic Camo Challenges for a specific weapon.

Once you’ve completed all of the Basic Camouflage Challenges for a particular weapon, you’ll unlock the Gold Camouflage Challenge for that weapon.

The Golden Camo Challenge usually has 3 eliminations without dying 10 times.

Here is the whole process to unlock it:

Complete all 4 Basic Camouflage Challenges for a specific weapon (e.g. M4) to unlock the Gold Camouflage Challenge for that weapon.
Eliminate 3 times without dying 10 times for a specific weapon (e.g. M4) to unlock the Golden Camo.

Let’s say you want to unlock the Golden Camo Challenge for M4.

To do so, you need to complete all 4 of its Basic Camouflage Challenges.

This includes removing x, discarding x without reloading, x discarding twice, and x discarding three times.

Once you’ve completed all of the basic Camouflage Challenges, you’ll unlock the Gold Camouflage Challenge for it.

The Golden Camo challenge for M4 is to be eliminated 3 times without dying 10 times.

Completing it will reward you with Gold M4 Camo.
