The easiest way to launch the Windows Task Scheduler is to open the Run Command box, type taskchd.msc and press enter. You can also search Schedule in the Windows Start Menu.
In the Task Scheduler, create a new task and give it a reference name. inside Activation tab click new button and enter the time of day you want to run the task. Don’t forget to change the frequency to daily.
Having done that, open action tab and click new button to add a new action. In the add a new action window, select Start a program and type “C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe” with quotes. In the arguments field, type –signatureUpdate and save the new task.
