Pushbullet is fast becoming one of those Android apps that you can’t help but recommend. At launch, it solved the simple problem of sending texts and links from a computer to Android (and vice versa). Then it added notification mirroring so you can see all your notifications while on the desktop. It then allows you to reply to SMS from the desktop. And all this without the need for a dedicated software. It all happens through a Chrome/Firefox extension.
Now, Pushbullet has solved another big problem of mine. And it did it in such a simple way that you couldn’t help but say “Wow”.
Global Copy & Paste
Once the setting is enabled, anything you copy on your Mac/Windows PC (not limited to browsers) will show up in the clipboard on your Android device for an amazingly short time. Just use it normally Paste and the content you copied from the desktop will be pasted into your Android phone. Only. Alike. That thing.
And it also works the other way around. Copying something on Android adds it to the clipboard on your Mac/Windows computer.

How to enable Universal Copy/Paste on Desktop and Android
First, make sure you’re using the latest version of Firefox or Chrome. Then download the Pushbullet extension and sign in with your Google account.
Once done, click the button firearms extension, click Gear icon and select Option. Here, from overviewcheck Global copy and paste.
Now, download the Android app and sign in with the same Google account that you used on the Chrome extension.
Tap the three-dot menu, select Setting -> Advanced settings and activate Global Copy & Paste. While you’re at it, activate Copy link and note to clipboard when received also.
Okay, that’s all set up. All you need to do now is copy and paste.
Pushbullet doesn’t require you to be on the same Wi-Fi network: A lot of device-syncing apps like Airdroid require both devices to use the same Wi-Fi network. Not Pushbullet though. Because Pushbullet uses its own servers to store files instead of transferring them directly between devices (this comes with its own set of problems but for universal copy-paste they don’t apply). use). This means that even if you forget to connect your phone to your home’s Wi-Fi network when you get home, the clipboard history will still sync between devices.

Pushbullet is great for, well, push stuff. Especially the links. But the process seems tedious. You need to right click and select Pushbullet, then select the device. Or click the extension.
There is an option located in the settings to quickly track the business sending this link.
From the Pushbullet settings screen, go to High level navigation. Here you will see an option named “Enable instant push to…” Enable this and from the drop-down menu select your preferred Android device. Default keyboard shortcut is set to Cmd + Shift + X on a Mac. You can click the link and follow the instructions to change it to something else.
Now, when you’re browsing a web page, like an article about a place you’re visiting or a Google Maps page with directions, just press the shortcut and the link will be sent to your phone. Neat isn’t it?
Feature request for next version: Clipboard History
Global copy and paste is great but what’s even better is having a clipboard history. Pushbullet has kept a history of everything you push from one device to another. So this clipboard thing isn’t that difficult right? Hope that.
