Instagram remains an important tool in the social media space. 1. You Have Exceeded The Limit
To prevent spam and bots from taking over the platform, Instagram has put a limit on how many accounts you can follow in an hour or a day. Hourly limit is 200 and you can follow up to 7500 accounts daily. If you’ve exceeded the set limit, you won’t be able to follow more accounts on Instagram. Wait a day or two and start following more accounts without a problem.
While you wait for Instagram to lift the limit, you should unfollow the accounts you interact with the least.
2. Instagram takes action to block your account
Your Instagram account actually goes read-only when the company’s actions block it. 5. User blocked you

6. Re-authenticate your account
