System Restore is a nice tool in Windows computers to undo any system changes made during the installation of new applications. This option can be used to restore your computer to an earlier state, if you have problems installing a new (and possibly crazy) tool.
Windows 7 provides an easy way to create a system restore point. Just click the start button on the bottom left and type Create a restore point in the search box. Click on the result.
It will open the system properties window. On the system protection tab, click the “Create” button.
The “Create restore point” dialog box will appear. Enter a description of the restore point. Here I entered the restore point creation date.
Windows will start creating a restore point. It will take a few seconds.
After completing the process, a message will appear. Click the “Close” button.
The system restore point is successfully created on your Windows 7 computer. Most applications automatically create a system restore point during installation, but you can always create a system restore point manually any time you want.
