An Osu beat map (also known as a map or song) is a set of game levels consisting of objects that are hit and represent a song.
In addition, it contains other components packaged in a repository with the .osz extension.
This includes songs (in MP3 or Ogg format), backgrounds and custom hit sounds to arrange.
It also includes a storyboard with special effects and motion graphics, as well as a custom skin that changes the look and feel of the game.
If you want to disable some of the beatmap’s visual and audio features, you can do so by going to the image settings overlay.
Osu has a public beatmap list where you can download beatmaps created by other users.
After you have downloaded the beatmap from the list, just double-click it to import it into Osu.
