This trick requires that an FTP server is running on your computer and that one of the folders you want to sync must be specified as the repository. I made a tutorial on how to do that and you can refer to that article to check that particular requirement.

Next, you should download and install the FolderSync app from the Play Store. The app comes as freeware with ads, but that’s enough if you just want to sync folders.

Configure FolderSync

The application includes many cloud-based file synchronization solutions, but we will only use the FTP-based feature. When the app launches, tap account select. Click here more account and choose FTP as account type. The application will then ask you to configure FTP details. Enter the details of the FTP server you have hosted on Windows and click on the option Checking connection. If everything is done right, it will be successful. Then you can rescue to add connections.

Depending on your settings, syncing will take place in the background when you’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You can click sync now to check sync manually. If all goes well, copies of files you have in your Android sync folder should show up on your PC, and vice versa.
