How to Unlock SP-X 80 in Modern Warfare 2

In Modern Warfare 2, some weapons are unlocked by default while others can be unlocked by completing challenges.

For example, you may need a specific number of kills to unlock a particular weapon.

Weapons can also be unlocked by reaching certain ranks.

For example, when you reach rank 5, you will unlock PDSW 528.

In this guide, you will learn how to unlock SP-X 80 (SPX 80) in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (MW2).

What is SP-X 80 in MW2?

SP-X 80 in MW2 is a sniper rifle.

Here is its description, “SP-X 80 is a .300 magnum sniper rifle designed for long-range target acquisition and destruction”.

It has a long range, good accuracy, and high damage.

Its magazine has 5 rounds (8 rounds with 8-round magazine included).

To unlock SP-X 80 in Modern Warfare 2, you need to level up SP-R 208, SA-B 50, and LA-B 330 to levels 13, 16, and 17 respectively.

After upgrading LA-B 330 to level 17, you will unlock SPX-80.

Here is the whole process to unlock it:

Rank 7 is required to unlock SP-R 208.

SP-R 208 is required to unlock other weapons such as SP-R 208, SA-B 50 and LA-B 330.

Note: Some players reported that they were unable to unlock SP-X 80 even after they upgraded LA-B 330 to level 17.

A known fix is to upgrade the LA-B 330 to level 18 instead of level 17 and you should be able to unlock SP-X 80.
