from one web application or service to another is good practice. The advantage is that you don’t have to manually integrate scattered events and activities. Once they’re in one place, you can quickly flip through your appointments and commitments without any hassle.
Previously, we discussed how to sync Google calendar with MS Outlook, Windows Live Mail and desktop apps. Today we’ll show you how to bring together Yahoo and Hotmail events under one roof.
Subscribe to Hotmail Calendar in Yahoo
The process is quite simple but a bit complicated. So I recommend you to follow the exact steps as detailed below.
Step 1: Log in to your Hotmail account and navigate to its calendar section. Click Share and select the calendar you want to share.
Step 2: Among the options here, select read radio button Share this calendar. This will expand the share and other details.
Step 3: Scroll down to the section for Send everyone a view-only link to your calendar and click Get your calendar link to enable subscription links.
Step 4: Under Link showing event details, click the link against ICS (Import in another calendar app).
Step 5: The ICS link will show up. Copy the entire link and save it somewhere so you can use it when you need it.
Step 6: Sign in to your Yahoo account this time and launch its calendar app.
Step 7: Detect act button, expand it and select Subscribe to another calendar.
Step 8: You will be prompted to enter the iCal address. And what you copied in Step 5 is the ICS address. So instead webcal with http and then save the subscription on Yahoo. You can also give it a name and color.
You can now view the details of your Hotmail calendar on the Yahoo interface.

Now let’s learn how to do the opposite.
Step 1: Sign in to your Yahoo account and start its calendar app.
Step 2: Detect act buttons, expand it and select Share.
Step 3: Choose Share with specific people and click Continue button.
Step 4: Next, mark on iCalendar and Web Address and copy iCal address. Save it somewhere so you can use it when needed. Click Save before navigating away.
Step 5: Log in to your Hotmail account and navigate to its calendar section. Click Ordered.
Step 6: On the box named Calendar URL, paste the iCal address you copied in Step 4. Also give your calendar a name and color and save it.
You can now view your Yahoo calendar details on the Hotmail interface.
Conclusion
