To do that, you’ll have to take the help of a native feature in Google Contacts called Undo Changes. As the name suggests, it will undo any changes made to the contacts.
When you use it, you will be asked to choose the time period for which you want to undo any changes. You can choose from 10 minutes to 30 days. Now any changes made to the contact list from the selected date will be deleted. That is, if the contacts have been deleted, they will come back. But it also means that if you add any new contact from that time period, that contact will be deleted. So be careful and back up your existing contacts before doing this.
How to recover deleted Google contacts on computer
For that, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open contact.google.com on your PC and sign in to the Google account you want to recover contacts from.
Step 2: Click the settings icon at the top. Select Undo changes from it.
Step 3: You will be asked to choose when you want to undo the changes to your contacts. For example, if contacts were deleted an hour ago, select 1 hour ago. You can even choose a custom duration limited to 30 days. Click Confirm.

How to recover deleted Google contacts on Android
If you use a Stock Android phone, your phone must have the Google Contacts app. You need to use it to restore contacts, as shown below. In case you don’t have the Google Contacts app yet, move on to the next section.
Step 1: Open the Google Contacts app and tap the three-bar icon at the top.
Step 2: Select Settings from the menu.

Retrieve deleted contacts from Google without Google contacts app (Samsung, iPhone, Mi, etc.)
If you have an iPhone or phone running a custom Android skin, such as a Samsung or Mi, you need to use the Google Contacts mobile site. This method will only work if you have synced your contacts with Google. If you use other cloud services like Samsung Cloud, these steps will not work.
Follow these steps to get Google contacts back:
Step 1: Open contact.google.com on your phone browser.
Step 2: Tap the settings icon at the top and select Undo changes. Choose a time and tap Confirm.
Necessary conditions to retrieve deleted contacts
If you cannot retrieve deleted Google contacts, there could be two reasons behind that.
Contacts should be in Google Contacts
You will only be able to restore contacts that already exist or are synced with Google Contacts. If the contacts are saved on the SIM or phone, those contacts won’t come back by undoing the changes in Google Contacts.
30 days period
As mentioned above, you can only recover deleted contacts for up to 30 days. If the contact has been deleted before, it cannot be retrieved.
