So you must be one of those people who bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 for all its hardware and features but have difficulty adjusting to TouchWiz. If you missed the stock Android experience from your previous phone or just think TouchWiz on your Samsung Galaxy S7 is too clunky, we can help.
In this article, we will show you how you can give your Galaxy S7 a near-native experience without root access using various third-party apps and settings. But please note that you won’t get the complete AOSP experience as that will require rooting and flashing a custom ROM.
Start.
Replace the TouchWiz Launcher
The launcher is one of the most important aspects of your phone’s user interface. On Samsung, it has been the TouchWiz launcher for years, loved by some and hated by others. This launcher gives you a complete feel on your Android so it’s the first place to start to get a near-native experience and we will replace TouchWiz with a 3rd party launcher from the Play Store.
There are quite a few options where you get stock like launcher like Nova Launcher, but in these launchers you will have to play with the settings to get the end result. Also, don’t forget to enable OK Google on the launcher to get the complete package.
Download the Google Phone app
The second thing you should do is replace the Samsung dialer app with the Google dialer and have a modified APK that works best on your Samsung Galaxy S7. You can download the APK file from this mirror link and then install it on your device.
If this is your first time downloading apps on your Samsung Galaxy S7, you will have to allow app installation from Unknown sources located in Install protection system.
After doing that, go to Setting and set new Phone app as default dialer from Applications select. Once that is done, outgoing and incoming calls will be handled by the stock dialer. Don’t forget to replace the shortcut on the home screen to switch completely.
Change lock screen

Note: If your phone is configured by an organization to work with the Microsoft Exchange server, you will not be able to disable the built-in pattern or PIN lock and as a result, you will receive two lock screens when installing third-party apps.
Install the original Android theme
So far, we’ve covered the launcher, lock screen, and dialer. But now we will talk about the main interface and the application icons that you get on the Galaxy S7. Thanks to the support of themes on the S7, this can be solved easily. Located in the settings you will find a theme option from where you can browse and download new themes for your S7.
Find Android N themes below Simple category to download and apply it. This will give your phone a complete makeover including switching notifications, settings, icons, wallpapers and even ringtones. With that, all you need is some final editing.
Disable bloatware
