You can’t see messages from Marketplace on Messenger because the Marketplace conversation has moved.
In some cases, you may have accidentally archived your chat after marking your item as sold.

Some updates have changed the location of the Marketplace chat.
You can access it through “Chat” under “Marketplace”.
