Are your apps not downloading on your new iPhone?
Or your apps are stuck loading after transferring iPhone?
Unfortunately, this is a known glitch on iOS devices.
To fix apps that won’t download on your new iPhone, you need to change your iPhone language.
Once you’ve changed your iPhone language, change it back in 5 minutes and your apps should start downloading.
Personally, I tried to fix it this way.
I tried many methods to fix it, including restarting my iPhone and signing out of my Apple account.
However, the only solution that got my apps to start downloading was to change the iPhone’s language.
Here’s how to fix apps that won’t download on a new iPhone:
- Go to your settings
- Go to “General”
- Tap “Language & Region”
- Tap on “iPhone Language”
- Change your language
- After 5 minutes, change your language again
1. Go to your settings
First you need to go into your settings.
This is because you need to change the language of your iPhone in it.
Search for the “Settings” app on your iPhone.
Tap “Settings” to open your iPhone settings.
2. Go to “General”
After you tap on “Settings”, you will get to your settings.
Now, you will see many options including “Airplane mode”, “Wi-Fi”, “Bluetooth”, etc.
Scroll down until you see the “General” option.
Tap “General” to go to your general settings.
3. Tap “Language & Region”
After you have clicked “General”, you will go to your general settings.
On the general settings, you will see many options.
This includes “About”, “Software Update”, “AirDrop”, etc.
Scroll down until you see the “Language & Region” option.
Tap “Language & Region” to go to your regional and language settings.
4. Tap “iPhone Language”
After you tap on “Language & Region”, you will switch to your regional and language settings.
You will now change the language, region, calendar, and temperature unit of your iPhone.
In order for your apps to start downloading, you need to change your iPhone’s language.
To start changing your iPhone’s language, tap “iPhone language.”
5. Change your language
After you tap on “iPhone Language”, you will arrive at the “iPhone Language” page.
This page contains a list of languages that you can change.
Now you need to change to another language.
You should change to a language you are familiar with.
Otherwise, you won’t be able to understand the text on your iPhone later.
For example, if you speak English, you can choose the language “English”, but for another country.
In this example, we will change the language from “English (Singapore)” to “English (Australia)”.
Tap “English (Australia)” to change your language.
If your language is set to “English (Australia)”, you can change it to “English (US)”.
6. After 5 minutes, change your language back
After you have changed the language for your iPhone, wait for 5 minutes.
When 5 minutes have passed, you need to change your language again.
You can do this by navigating to Settings > General > Language & Region > iPhone Language.
If the language on your iPhone was previously set to “English (Singapore)”, tap “English (Singapore)” to change it back to your language.
Now check if your app is downloading.
This time, your apps will download quickly if you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
After about half an hour, all your apps will be fully downloaded!

When I transfer my old iPhone to my new iPhone, all my apps won’t download.
I have tried many solutions such as restarting my new iPhone, signing out and signing in to my Apple account, and turning on airplane mode.
However, none of them managed to get my app to start downloading.
The last solution that I tried was to change the language of the iPhone.
After about 5 minutes my apps started downloading (when Wi-Fi is on)!
