How to do “Return of the River” in God Of War Ragnarok

To begin Return of the River Favor in God of War Ragnarok, you must first enter the Jungle and move forward.

To complete the mission, you need to find and open the portals to flood the crater.

Here’s the whole process (expanded screenshot above):

Go to the Celestial altar and transform it from day to night.
Make your way to The Jungle and you’ll meet an Ogre.
Move forward and Return of the River’s backing will begin.
Follow the dam, use Blades of Chaos to reach it and climb it.
Move forward, break the boxes and use the Draupnir Spear to break the Wind Rift.
Go inside the void and place a string of expanded Hex Balloons on the wall and red branches.
Destroy branches with Blades of Chaos using Blazing Surge on Hex Bubbles.
Spin the wheel to open portals that flood the crater and complete the Return of the River quest.

After completing the quest, you will have access to The Sinholes Berserker Gravestone.

Rewards are Enhanced Remnants, Link Skins, and Shattered Runes.
