Genshin Impact has released update 3.1 called “King Deshret and the Three Magi”.

You can get Primogem as a compensation bonus for maintenance time.

How to perform “Dream under the burning sand” in Genshin Impact

To do “Dreams Beneath the Burning Sands” in Genshin Impact, you need to follow the quest markers, overcome three challenges, complete the puzzles in Khaj-Nisut, and get out of it.

The first part

1. Back to the oasis.
2. Talk to Jebrael.
3. Go to Khaj-Nisut.
4. Search for Khaj-Nisut.
5. Look for clues in the Eremites camp (pick up the note in front of the right tent).
6. Report back to Jebrael about the clues found.

Part Two: Overcoming the Three Challenges

1 test

1. Head south to the first test and operate the mechanism to launch it.
2. Jump into the pit and find your way out of the maze—the goal is to get to the bottom of the maze.
3. Operate the mechanism at the bottom of the maze to complete the first test.

test 2

1. Head west to the second test and operate the mechanism to launch it.
2. Fall into the pit > open the first door > pick up the Forged Primal Light > stand on top of the replica arch stone.
3. Pick up another Forged Primal Light > stand on top of the replica set’s second arch stone.
4. Rotate the tile until the tile is activated and tap the obscured tile.
5. Go to the next area > pick up 2 Forged Primal Lights (one each) > stand on the 2 arch stones of the replica set.
6. Tap the tile > go towards the door to open it > go into the next area > open the door > go into the next area > jump into the pit.
7. Defeat the enemy > open the door > go to the next area > loot the common chest to get the keystone (I).
8. Go south > unlock the door with the keystone (I) > pick up the Forged Primal Light > stand on top of the cloned arch stone.
9. Loot the common chest to get an arch stone (II) > pick up another Forged Primal Light > stand on the second arch stone of the replica set > tap the obscuring tile.
10. Go east > unlock the door with the crest stone (II) > pick up the Forged Primal Light > stand on top of the cloned arch stone > tap the obscuring tile.
11. Two doors will be opened > go to the first opened door > pick up Fake Nguyen Quang > operate the mechanism to complete the second challenge.

3 test

1. Head north to the third test and operate the mechanism to launch it.
2. Down the first hole > defeat the enemy > operate the mechanism.
3. Go down to the second hole > defeat the enemy > operate the mechanism to complete the third challenge.

third part

1. Enter Khaj-Nisut.
2. Explore the lower floors of Khaj-Nisut.

Part Four: Activating the mechanism in the center of the hall

The First Primordial Ember

1. Release Primal Ember west.
2. Activate the elevator to go down.
3. Find your way around the force field and guide the Primal Ember into the structure.
4. Activate the elevator to go up.
5. Operate the first mechanism nearby to activate it.

Second Primordial Ember

1. Drop Primal Ember in the middle.
2. Follow it down a hole.
3. Defeat the enemy.
4. Release Primal Ember again.
5. Wait for the first fan to stop and walk past it.
6. Wait for the second fan to stop and walk past it.
7. Use the four-card sign on the top to go up.
8. Guide Primal Ember into the structure.
9. Operate the second mechanism nearby to activate it.

The Third Primordial Ember

1. Drop Primal Ember east.
2. Follow Primal Ember and re-release.
3. Guide it into the structure.
4. Go back and operate the third nearby mechanism to activate it.
5. Follow the quest marker and tap the mechanism in the middle of the lobby to complete the objective.

Part Five: Operating the Prism of Khaj-Nisut

1. Go upstairs to Khaj-Nisut
2. Use the four-leaf sigil to go to the red prism of Khaj-Nisut (in the middle of the area).
3. Select Operate > Convert > Operate > Operate.
4. Use the four-leaf clover sign to go to the red platform (on the west side).
5. Select “Start”, stand on the red platform and select “Activate”.

Final Part: Escape from Khaj-Nisut

1. Defeat Samail’s subordinates.
2. Go forward and fall down the first hole.
3. Go forward, turn right, go straight and fall into the second hole.
4. Keep going straight and drop down to the force field.
5. Go right and drop down to the force field.
6. Continue going straight and drop the force field to the ground.
7. Exit Khaj-Nisut from the entrance.
