Genshin Impact has released a new update, version 3.4, called “Exquisite Night Bells”.
The update includes a new area called “Hadramaveth Desert” that has ravines and lost cities, new quests, costumes, etc.
In this area you will have new daily commissions, fishing spots and radiant spinning crystals.
New characters that will be added to the game include “Admonishing Instruction” Alhaitham (Dendro) and “Burgeoning Grace” Yaoyao (Dendro).
Alhaitham has a sword and an elemental skill called “Universality: An Elaboration on Form” that can damage Dendro and form a mirror of opaque light.
Yaoyao has a rifle weapon and an elemental skill called “Raphanus Sky Cluster” that can throw exploding White Jade Radishes.
There are two new domains including “Fane of Panjvahe” and “City of the Deceed”.
To unlock them, you need to reach Adventure Rank 32 or higher and meet specific requirements.

How to “Activate the Giant Machine’s Energy System” in Genshin Impact
To activate the energy system of the giant machine in Genshin Impact, you need to find and pick up 3 orange diamonds.
After you’ve picked up 3 orange diamonds, go to the bottom floor and put them inside the machines to activate the energy system.
Here’s how to do this (expanding screenshot above):
- “Pick up” the orange diamond on the floor.
- Head north and “place” the orange diamond in front of the locked door to unlock it.
- Go inside the entrance and “pick up” the orange diamond.
- “Withdraw” the orange diamond you placed earlier (you will now have 2 orange diamonds).
- Head southwest and “place” two orange diamonds in front of the locked door to unlock it.
- Go inside the entrance and “pick up” the orange diamond.
- “Draw” the two orange diamonds you placed earlier (you should now have 3 orange diamonds).
- Select “Go to the bottom level” and go inside the elevator.
- “Put” an orange diamond inside the first, second and third machine respectively.
After you put 3 orange diamonds inside the 3 machines, the machine’s energy system will be activated.
A cutscene will be played and your new goal is to enter the Control Cabin.
