Get Full Screen Image of Contact as Caller ID On Android

Today’s Android phones come with huge display screens. Back in the day when we had a smaller display, the miniature caller image looked pretty awesome but now if you see the same caller ID on your 4 inch beast you might not be so impressed.

By default, when you apply a photo as a contact photo, it takes up only a third of the screen area, leaving two thirds of it or I can say a complete waste of screen space.

Today, I’m going to show you how you can apply a good resolution full screen photo as a call screen shot or caller ID on the screen and actually use the full screen photo to identify the caller.

Ultimate Caller Screen is a great app available on Google Play Store for your android phone which gives option to apply good quality image as caller ID photo.

Moreover, these images are displayed in full screen when someone calls you.

How it works

Step 1: Download and install Ultimate Call Screen HD Free on your Android phone. The app works on all devices running on Android 2.1 and above (sorry Apple users).

Step 2: When you launch the app, you will get to the settings menu. Before we continue, please make sure you have downloaded the photo you will use as the caller photo to your SD card.

If you want perfect results, crop the result to 3:2 in landscape mode using any free image editor you’re comfortable with. Once you’ve saved all the photos to your phone’s memory, it’s time to apply them to your contacts.

Step 3: In the app, click Contact Management to get a list of all the contacts you have in your phone. Now, search for the contact to which you want to apply the HD image (if you have a large contact list, finding the contact can be complicated) and click on that contact.

Step 4: Contact will open where you can set HD caller picture. You can take pictures from your camera or you can use photos already in your SD card.

After applying the image, click the preview button to see how the image will look when the caller calls you. You can make some changes if you want. When you are satisfied, press the back button to save the changes.

Step 5: On the main screen of the application, check the option Activate last caller screen to enable HD caller screen.

Now all your contacts will have a full screen caller image. For the photos where you have applied the custom image, the selected image will be displayed, for the rest, the default image will be used. You can change the default image from the settings menu.

Note:

The tools also provide options like flip to opt out, silent or speaker options.

Conclusion

I am sure that, with all these HD caller images, you will never have to actually read the name of the person calling you. So go ahead and try the app and let us know how it works.
