During the show, a random kid came on stage and said he nominated Bill Clinton.
This comes after the Elden Ring won game of the year.
The director and some developers were on stage when the kid picked up the microphone and started the 10-second keynote.

The kid who broke The Game Awards was Matan Even.
Matan Even is a YouTuber (over 37,000 subscribers) who exposed police brutality during the Hong Kong protests from 2019 to 2020.
He uploaded 56 episodes of civilians being beaten by the police.
His YouTube channel, youtube.com/@mataneven34/ was created in 2019.
He stopped uploading videos after the Hong Kong protests ended.
His official Twitter profile is https://twitter.com/matanevenoff and he has over 25,000 followers.
After his stunt at the Game Awards, he tweeted this, “Today, there was a lot of talk and speculation. More information will soon be announced on all fronts.”
The tweet received over 900 likes and over 100 retweets.
Obviously, the Game Awards stunt isn’t the only stunt he’s done before.
He previously advocated for human rights at a Clippers game, said “free Hong Kong” before a Blizzard conference, and was on InfoWars to express his views on Hong Kong.
InfoWars is a far-right conspiracy theory website founded by Alex Jones.
In 2019, he caught the attention of the NBA and wore a T-shirt that read “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong”.
On TikTok, he is known as Caprogg and RangoLizard and mocks others for their political views on various TikTok LIVEs.
Based on @SlattySlimes on TwitterMatan is his best friend’s brother.
He said that Matan has performed many of the same stunts as the current one before, notably wearing a “Free Hong Kong” jersey while on camera by NBA fans.
@SlattySlimes also said that Matan grew up in a Hebrew school and they have family in Israel.
According to past stunts, it appears that Matan is advocating for human rights and condemning police brutality.
He often discusses politics outside the United States such as China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan but limits discussion to right-wing politics.
