As the name suggests, Shared With You is the part of Apple’s apps that shows media content that others have shared with you via iMessage. It collects all shared media from iMessage conversations and displays them in a single section in supported apps.
Meaning you no longer need to scroll through hundreds of iMessages just to find the perfect music recommendation from friends or family. Just open the Apple Music app and go to Shared With You to view shared tracks. It will pull all shared Apple Music links from all iMessage conversations.

Safari on iPhone is quite customizable. You need to enable the Share with you switch from the browser.
If you want to check all web links shared from Safari, you can easily do so. This is the way.
Step 1: Open Safari on iPhone.

Turn off sharing with friends
If you don’t like the Share with You functionality (there are many reasons for that), you can easily turn off Share with You on your iPhone or individual apps. Here’s what you need to do.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Go to the Messages menu.
Step 3: Open the Shared with You section.
Step 4: Disable Share with you to switch to unrelated apps.
- Shared with you only works when the media content and link are shared via iMessage. If you receive a relevant link from a WhatsApp or Telegram chat, the linked content will appear in the Shared with you section.
- This functionality is limited to Apple apps only. Sharing with you is not supported in Spotify, Netflix, or Prime Video.
- The error is still there. In addition, Apple has buried Shared with You in Apple Music and Apple TV, making it difficult for users to find.
