The cops who defeated Tire Nichols were Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Desmond Mills Jr, Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith.
They were arrested on Thursday and they face multiple charges.
All 5 Officers have been fired and charges ranging from murder to kidnapping have been filed against them.
The specific charges are second-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, government misconduct and official oppression.
According to CBS, Martin’s attorney confirmed that Martin turned himself in and that he did not have a $350,000 bond.
Additionally, Bean, Smith, Mills, and Haley all applied for a $250,000 bond and were released.
According to Massey, none of the officers intended to kill Nichols and that was their worst fear.
Demetrius Haley was previously accused of using excessive force by punching an inmate in the face.
