Quickly Create Movie From Photos In Camera With Windows Live Movie Maker

Photos have become an integral part of our lives and everyone loves to capture precious moments in life to cherish them forever. And unlike a decade ago, when it was just a push of a button on the camera to take a photo, today there are countless ways to spice up your photo collection – create collages, add fun effects, give them a vintage look.. oh, and also make a movie out of them.

In today’s post, I’ll show you how to create movies from your photos using Windows Live Movie Maker and work wonders with those snapshots.

Before we begin, I hope you have Windows Live Essentials installed on your system. If not, please download and install it on your computer before we continue. As you will see, another Live Essentials product – Windows Live Photo Gallery – has a role to play in this process.

Data collection

Step 1: First, import all the photos from your camera into Windows Live Photo Gallery using a data cable or memory card.

Step 2: Once you are done importing the photos, select them and click the Movie Maker button.

Step 1: Add more photos and videos

More Videos And Music

If you want to import more photos into your collection, you can use the Add Videos and Photos button located on the Home tab strip.

Step 2: Add music

Music is the most essential component of a movie (unless you want to make a silent movie that is too boring). To add tracks to your movie, click the music button and import the music that best matches your movie timeline.

Step 3: Choose a transition effect

Transfer efficiency

On the Home tab, in the Themes section, click the theme you want to use. Movie Maker automatically adds titles, attribution, transitions, and effects for you. You can keep the settings or edit it manually according to your needs.

Finishing and exporting

You can preview your video at any time while creating it.

When you think your movie is ready, click the save movie button and export it in the desired format.

There are many more editing options available in Windows Live Movie Maker to help you show your creativity to family and friends. Once your movie is rendered, you can share it with your family and friends using email attachments or online video services.

My judgment

I’ve always preferred watching slideshows to the usual one-by-one method but now creating a movie seems like a better option. Use Movie Maker to combine our perfect photos as a moving picture with dynamic effects and background music that really brings life to even the most uninteresting photos.
