How to unlock level 2 locks in Hogwarts Legacy
To unlock level 2 in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to upgrade the Alohomora spell to level 2.
To do so, you need to find 9 Demiguise statues in 9 different locations.
The positions of the statues are as follows:
- Hogwarts South Area – Statue of Demiguise Lower Hogsfield.
- Hogwarts Valley – Statue of Goddess Keenbridge.
- Hogwarts Valley – Brocburrow bust.
- Hogsmeade Valley – Statue of Demiguise Upper Hogsfield.
- North Ford Bog – Statue of Pitt-Upon-Ford Demiguise.
- Feldcroft Region – Statue of the Goddess Irondale.
- Hogwarts – Statue of the South Wing Goddess.
- Hogwarts – The statue of Demiguise in the Great Hall.
- Hogwarts – Library Annex Building – Divination Classroom.
After you have found all 9 Demiguise statues, go to Gladwin Moon and talk to him.
Select “I actually have some moons for you” and the Alohomora spell will be upgraded to level 2.
How to unlock level 2 locks in Hogwarts Legacy
To unlock level 2 locks in Hogwarts Legacy, you first need to rotate the outer circle until there is a green light in the bottom right gear.
Second, rotate the inner circle until there is a red light on the gear in the middle.
Finally, hold the position of the circles and the key will be selected.
Here’s how to do this (expanding screenshot above):
- Rotate the outer (green) circle until the bottom right (green) gear begins to spin and glow.
- Rotate the inner circle (red) until the center gear (red) begins to spin and glow.
- Hold the position of the circles and the key will be selected.
After you hold the position of the circles for a few seconds, the lock will be selected.
The goal is to make the mechanism look symmetric for successful key selection.
