How to Unlock Camos in Modern Warfare 2

Weapon Camouflage, or Camo, is a color pattern applied to a weapon.

This will allow your weapon to blend into the environment or display your achievements.

In some Call of Duty games, the camouflage is unlocked with shots to the head.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops, they can be purchased for 250 points each.

However, Gold Camouflage costs 50,000 points and it is available after you increase your prestige 14 times.

In MW2, camo can be unlocked by completing challenges such as headshot, single shot, or plane destruction.

How to unlock camos in Modern Warfare 2

To unlock camos in Modern Warfare 2, you first need to gain a weapon of a certain level.

After you get the weapon to a certain level, you will unlock its challenge to unlock the camo.

Finally, you need to complete the challenge to unlock the camo.

Here’s how to unlock a basic camo:

Raise the weapon to a certain level (e.g. M4 to level 8) to unlock the challenge.
Complete challenges to unlock camo (e.g. 40 eliminations while ADS).

For example, if you want to get Desert Hybrid Camo for M4, you need to get it to level 8 first.

Once you’ve reached level 8, you’ll unlock the challenge to get the camo.

The challenge is to remove 40 times while ADS (Aim Down Target) with M4.
