How to Turn on Voice Chat in Overwatch 2

Want to talk to your friends or other players in Overwatch 2?

If so, you need to enable voice chat whether you are playing on PC or console.

Overwatch 2 was released on October 4, 2022.

How to use microphone in Overwatch 2?

To use the microphone in Overwatch 2, you need to enable “Push to talk” and set the keybinding.

To do so, press “Esc” on your keyboard and select “Options”.

Next, select Audio > Voice Chat > Voice Chat Mode > Walkie Talkie > Walkie Talkie Key.

Finally, set the keybinding for “Voice chat: Tap to talk” like “V”.

When you press and hold “V” on the keyboard, the microphone picks up your voice as you speak.

If your microphone is not working, make sure you are not muted by pressing “M” on your keyboard to unmute yourself.

To enable voice chat in Overwatch 2, you need to enable team, team, and match voice chat.

After you have enabled these settings, set your voice chat mode to “Push to Talk” (for PC) or “Open MIC” (for console).

If you have it set to “Push to Talk”, you need to add a key associated with it like “V”.

When you press and hold “V” on the keyboard, the microphone picks up your voice as you speak.

On the other hand, “Open MIC” will pick up your voice all the time.

The default keybinding for “Push to Talk” is the “`” key, located next to the “1” key.
