Gesture debugging
If for some reason the gestures don’t work correctly or don’t work at all, you can try the following:
- Update the drivers for your Trackpad by checking the Manufacturer’s driver page to see if they have released an updated driver for Windows 10. This is the most common reason why gestures are not working.
- Double check that your laptop has a Precision Touchpad. Look out for the brand shown in the image below, or visit the manufacturer’s support page to find out. If your laptop supports gestures in Windows 8/8.1 then wait for your manufacturer to release an updated driver or an updated third-party gesture suite for Windows 10.
- You can uninstall any current drivers for your touchpad and roll back to an earlier version that worked in older Windows OS.
