Silver Blades are acquired by doing basically any activity. Strikes, Crucible matches, Gambit, quests, public events, pretty much anything that qualifies as “doing something” will net you some silver leaves.

If you have other things you want to do in the game, you can passively accumulate silver blades as you play. If you’re looking to get them as quickly as possible, there are some activities that reward you with more silver leaves than others.

Your best bet is to grind Altars of Sorrow. This activity grants Silver Leaves as you complete rounds, and a large number of them when you complete the final round. Add in some patrols you can pick up as you go, and the fact that you can complete various Solstice challenges while you’re at it, and this is the ultimate destination for farming Silver Leaves.

As mentioned, silver blades are used to upgrade your Solstice armor. That being said, there are a few steps before doing that. First of all, you need to bring your gathered silver blades to Bonfire Bash. You can only have a maximum of 100 silver leaves at a time, so you can’t farm them indefinitely.

Completing a Bonfire Bash will burn some of your silver blades, creating the silver ash that you use to upgrade your Solstice armor. The number of blades you burn in one go depends on the amount of Solstice armor you are wearing. To burn as many silver blades as possible, be sure to wear a full set of Solstice armor when you complete Bonfire Bash.

Once you turn your silver blades into silver ashes, you can use them on your Solstice armor upgrades, as long as you’ve also gathered enough firewood.

For the more determined, there is a way to complete the first mission of the light fall campaign to quickly collect silver leaves. To do this you will need two players and to get to the part of the mission where you need to board a Cabal drop pod.

Using the drop down capsule will net you a decent amount of silver leaves. To improve it, only one player can use the drop down capsule. That player must then switch to another character and then rejoin the mission. The other player then repeats those steps, and the whole cycle repeats until everyone involved has as many silver sheets as they want.
