Before start
While Telegram offers a Premium subscription to unlock more features, the option to schedule your messages is also available to other users. You just need to make sure that you are using Telegram v9.3.2 or higher on Android or iPhone and Telegram Desktop v9.3 app on Mac or Windows PC.
Schedule messages on Telegram on mobile devices
First, we’ll show you the steps to schedule a message to be sent to a Telegram contact using your iPhone or Android. The steps are still the same for both platforms.
Step 1: Open Telegram on your iPhone or Android.
Step 2: Select the contact name that you want to schedule a message.
Step 3: Type your message and press and hold the Send icon in the bottom right corner.
Step 4: Tap Schedule messages.
Step 5: Set the Date and Time to send the message.
Step 6: Tap Send today at (Date and time).
You can also choose to send when your contact is online on Telegram.
Your scheduled message will appear in a new contact window.
You can tap Close in the top left corner to go back.
Reschedule Messages in Telegram on Android and iPhone
Telegram also allows you to change the Date and Time of a scheduled message before it is delivered to your contact. This is a useful schedule reminder for your personal or professional contacts. Here’s how to do it on Android and iPhone. The steps are still the same for both platforms.
Step 1: Open Telegram on your iPhone or Android.
Step 2: Select the contact whose message you want to reschedule.
Step 3: Tap the Scheduled icon in the bottom right corner.
The Scheduled Messages window will open your desktop.
Step 4: Tap and hold on the message that you want to reschedule.
Step 5: Select Reschedule from the list of options.
Step 6: Select a new Date and Time and tap Send Today In (Date and Time).
You can also delete your scheduled messages in this same window.
Schedule Telegram messages on Windows and Mac
If you’re using the Telegram Desktop app on your Mac or Windows PC, here’s how to schedule messages to be sent to your contacts. The steps remain the same for Mac and Windows users.
Step 1: Open Telegram on your Mac or Windows PC.
Step 2: Select the contact that you want to schedule the message.
Step 3: Type your message and press firmly on the Send icon in the bottom right corner.
Step 4: Choose Message Scheduler from the list of options in the pop-up menu.
Step 5: Set the Date and Time to send your message and click Send Today.
You can also select Send When Online to send the message.
Your scheduled message will appear in a new window on your desktop.
Reschedule Messages in Telegram on Windows and Mac
Just like for mobile, Telegram offers the option to reschedule messages on the Desktop app for Mac and Windows users. Below are the steps that remain the same for both platforms.
Step 1: Open Telegram on your Mac or Windows PC.
Step 2: Select the contact you want to reschedule the message.
Step 3: Click the Scheduled Messages icon in the chat box in the bottom right corner.
Step 4: Right-click on the message that you want to reschedule.
Step 5: Click Reschedule.
Step 6: Select a new Date and Time and click Send Today.
You can also click Delete to delete your scheduled message for the contact.
After you delete your scheduled message(s), you can click the Arrow icon in the top left corner to go back.
