Telegram offers a plethora of customization features for its users. And most of them don’t depend on your device’s system settings. The best example is Dark Mode (or Night Mode, as mentioned in the app). You can schedule Dark Mode for Telegram using the in-app settings.

Schedule Night Mode on Telegram on iPhone
If you are an iPhone user, here’s how you can turn on Auto-Night Mode for Telegram without relying on system settings.
Step 1: Open Telegram on your iPhone and tap on Settings at the bottom-right corner.
Step 2: Scroll down and select Appearance.
Step 3: Tap on Auto-Night Mode.
Step 4: Tap on Scheduled and select the time of the day after the feature should activate.
You can also select between Night and Dark theme for the chat window.
If you select Automatic, the app will switch to Night Mode based on your iPhone’s system setting.

Schedule Night Mode on Telegram on Android
Like iPhone users, the feature is known as Night Mode for Android users. Here’s how to enable this feature.
Step 1: Open the Telegram app on your Android phone.
Step 2: Tap the hamburger menu icon at the top-left corner and select Settings.
Step 3: Tap on Chat Settings.
Step 4: Scroll down and select Auto-Night Mode.
Step 5: Tap on Scheduled and select the time range during which the feature will remain activated.
You can manually enter the period and not rely on the Sunrise to Sunset time. You can select the color theme during Night Mode for Telegram.
Schedule Night Mode on Telegram on Mac
If you prefer using the Telegram app on your Mac, here’s how to schedule the Dark Mode feature.
Step 1: Press Command + Spacebar keyboard shortcut to open Spotlight Search, type Telegram, and press Return to open the app.
Step 2: Click on Settings from the left menu.
Step 3: Scroll down and click on Appearance.
Step 4: Scroll down and select Auto-Night Mode.
Step 5: Click on Scheduled.
Step 6: Select the time duration between which Night Mode should be enabled.
Schedule Night Mode on Telegram on Windows PC
Lastly, if you have a Windows 11 PC, here’s how to enable the Dark Mode for the Telegram app.
Step 1: Click the Start icon on the taskbar to open the Start menu, type Telegram, and press Enter to open the Telegram app.
Step 2: Click the hamburger menu icon at the top-left corner and select Settings from the left menu.
Step 3: Select Chat Settings.
Step 4: Under Auto-Night Mode, you only get the option to enable it as per system settings.
You cannot manually enter a specific time frame for the feature to remain active.
Use Night Mode on Telegram Web
If you prefer using the web version of Telegram, here’s how you can enable automatic Dark Mode or Night Mode. The steps remain the same for both K and A version of Telegram Web.
Step 1: Open the web browser on your computer and go to web.telegram.org.
Step 2: Scan the QR code to sign in to your account.
Step 3: Click the hamburger menu icon on the top-left corner and select Settings.
Step 4: Scroll down and select Chat Settings.
Step 5: You can now choose to schedule Night Node as per the system settings. You don’t have the option to manually enter a time frame.

Use Dark Mode on Telegram
You can schedule the Dark Mode (Night Mode) on Telegram for whichever device you use. Telegram has a slew of features to improve the user experience.
