Today we’ll take a look at the weather app and see how to change your home city and add more items to the favorites list. We go here.
Note: Make sure the weather app is up to date when you start. If not, you should update it before you start.
Steps to add location to weather app
First of all, go to the start screen and launch the weather app. Then follow the steps below.
Step 1: Right-click on the interface to bring up the weather application menu. Get the second item from the list, Location.
Step 2: You will be taken to a page dedicated to Location consists of two parts: Home page And favourite. above favourite click on the tile with the + sign.
Step 3: You can now add a city of your choice. Start typing a city name to get hints. Select the one you want to add.
Click Add Once completed. You can make the app look for the current location by clicking on the icon placed to the left of the More button.
That’s it. The city you just added will appear in the Favorites list among other cities on Location page.
Steps to set home location
On the Places page, the Home section shows your home city. And, perhaps this is the city where the app will display an overview of the temperature and weather on the start screen tile.
You can now click on the box below it and select your home location in a different location than the one set.
Alternatively, right click on the app and select Change Homepage from the menu at the bottom of the screen. Then choose one from the favorites list or add a new location.
Pin the weather location to the start screen
If you have a favorite that you want to follow (on the start screen) outside of your home city, you can pin it to the start screen.
When you are on the details screen of a location, right-click the page. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click Pin to get startedgive it a name and click Pin to get started again. That’s it. You are done.
Conclusion
