This feature is currently only available in the US, Australia and New Zealand for those 18 years of age or older.
If you’re living outside of those countries, you won’t have access to this package yet.
Also, only individual accounts are eligible to become Meta Verified.
Business accounts are not eligible and cannot apply for the plan.
How to fix Meta Verified option not showing on Instagram
To fix the Meta Verified option not showing on Instagram, you need to join the waitlist.
When you join the waitlist and choose to receive marketing-related electronic communications, you will be notified when Meta Verified is available to you.
Here’s how to join the waitlist for Meta Verified:
- Navigate to an Instagram profile that is now Meta Verified.
- Tap the person’s username.
- Select “Join the waitlist for Meta Verified”.
