Check and Export Google Duo Call History on Android
There are three ways to check your Google Duo Call History on Android phones and tablets.
Method 1: View the entire call history on Duo
First, open the Google Duo app on your phone. At the bottom, you’ll see profile icons of people who’ve contacted you recently. Swipe up to see the full list.
Method 2: View individual call history
To view a contact’s detailed call history, open the Duo app. Swipe up to see the contact list. Tap the contact whose history you want to check.
Then, tap the View History button present on the right side of the message.
Alternatively, tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner. Select View full history.
Method 3: View in the phone App
You can also view your Google Duo call history in the Phone app. However, to do that, you need to grant permission in Duo settings.
To do so, open the Duo app and tap the three-dot icon at the top. Select settings.
Tap Call settings. Then, tap Add Duo call to your device’s call history. Click Allow. Once you grant permission, the setting will disappear from the app.
You are granting Call Log permission to the Duo app. If you disable the Call Log permission, the setting will reappear in the app and call history won’t show up in the Phone app or the dialer of your Android phone or tablet.
Disable Duo call history from appearing in phone app
To prevent Duo calls from appearing in Phone Call History, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Settings on your phone and go to Apps.
Step 2: Under All apps, tap Duo. Then tap Permissions.
Step 3: Tap Call Log and revoke permission.
Tip: If the setting to show call history in the Phone app isn’t in the Duo app, grant the Call Log permission to that setting.
Download Google Duo Call Log on Android
Here are the steps to export your Duo call history on Android:
Step 1: Launch the Google Dup app and tap the three-dot icon at the top. Tap Help & Feedback.
Step 2: Again, tap the three-dot icon at the top and select Export call history.
Check and download Google Duo Call History on iPhone
There are two ways to check call history on iPhone.
Method 1: From the Duo application
Launch the Google Duo app on your iPhone. You’ll see recently dialed or received calls at the bottom. Swipe up to see a detailed list.
Method 2: From the phone App
On iOS, Google Duo doesn’t show detailed call logs in the app itself. You need to open the Phone app on your iPhone to see the full call history. Duo calls can be identified with Google Duo Audio or Google Duo Video text in the call log.
Download Google Duo Call Log on iOS
Here’s how to download Duo call recordings on iPhone and iPad.
Step 1: Launch the Duo app and tap the three-dot icon at the top. Select settings.
Step 2: Tap About, terms and privacy. Select Export call history.
Check and download Google Duo Call History on the web
On the web version of Google Duo, you’ll find your voice and video history directly on the homepage. However, it only lists recent calls. Details like voice, video, recorded or received calls are missing from the history.
If you want to test that, you need to download your call log from the web.
View detailed Google Duo Call Logs on the web
To download Duo call history on the web, open Duo.google.com. Click the settings icon at the top.
Click Download now next to Call Logs. Call logs are downloaded in .csv format. You will find all the details, such as duration of the call, duration, etc.

Here’s how to clear your Duo call history from the web and mobile apps.
Delete Duo history on the web
On the web version of Google Duo, hover your pointer over the contact. Click the three-dot icon and select Clear Duo history.
Delete Duo history on Android and iOS
There are four ways to clear your Duo voice and video history on mobile devices.
Method 1: Delete call log from Google Duo home screen
On Android and iOS, you can view your call history on the Duo app’s home screen as an avatar. Tap and hold the avatar you want to remove from the call log. Select Delete Duo history on Android and Remove from list on iOS to delete recent call records.
Method 2: Delete Entire Call History for a Contact
To do that, open the contact in the Duo app and tap the three-dot icon at the top. Select Clear Duo history.
Method 3: Clear call history from phone app
To delete call logs from the Phone app on Android, open the call log and tap the delete icon. On iPhone, swipe left on the call record to delete.
Method 4: Clear all call history (Android only)
If you want to delete the call logs of all your Duo contacts, you should clear the data for the Duo app. Doing so will delete all call logs. However, be aware that your app will behave as if you just installed it. You will have to log in again.
To clear data, open Settings on your Android phone or tablet. Go to Applications > Duo > Storage. Click Clear data.
