Unlocking your phone is faster than ever with an ultra-fast fingerprint sensor and feature-rich Face ID. As convenient as that is, sometimes unlocking your phone just to open an app seems unnecessary, especially when you’re at home or when you frequently use it. That’s where enabling Smart Lock on your Android can help.
The Smart Lock feature keeps your phone unlocked when connected to a trusted device or in familiar territory. There are a few different versions of Smart Lock on Android, and we’ll walk you through all of them and more. So let’s get straight to it.

Step 1: Launch the Settings app on your Android and navigate to Security.
Step 2: Under Device Security, tap on the Smart Lock option. Next, enter your device PIN.
Once verified, you will find all available Smart Lock options. Tap the On-body detection option to enable it.
