How to Easily Set Reminders for All Android Notifications

Such situations can be easily handled by apps that keep your notification history. But what if you want to set a reminder for a notification? Today I will show you how to set reminders for notifications on your Android phone.

How to set reminders for notifications

So we will use here a new Android app called Boomerang Notifications. Just like the Boomerang comes back to you on throw (properly), here notifications will return to the notification drawer after being swiped away. See how to set and save reminders for notifications with Boomerang Notifications.

Step 1: Setup

After installing the application, you need to provide Notification access permissions for the application. This will allow the app to access all your notifications.

Step 2: Select Apps to track notifications

Next, you will be asked to choose which app notifications you need to monitor. Select the applications and go to the next screen.

Step 3: Save or Set Reminder for Notification

Now you are ready. Wait for the notification of the application you selected in the step above. Swipe the notification and Boomerang will pop in another to claim you Rescue notice or Save+Reminder you later.

When you hit Save + Reminder it will ask what time you want this message to appear again. You can set the time as shown in the screenshot below.

Some time later will push notification after 1 hour. Or else you can just Rescue it’s in Boomerang’s Notification History.

Step 3: Customize Boomerang Notifications.

You can further customize Boomerang’s notification duration by choosing how long the notification should disappear. go Setting of the app and down below you will have the option to Time saving Notification operation. Here, choose your preferred time.

You can also choose to receive a reminder to review your saved notifications at the end of the day. There is also a persistent notification in the notification drawer to quickly review your saved notifications.

Step 4: Set a reminder for saved notifications

You can also set reminders for saved notifications from the history. Long press on the notification and it will give you the option to add a reminder for it.

You can also open the app and access your saved notifications. The same actions will be performed as notifications would work in the notification drawer.

Still no time to access notifications? Select Remind me later to delay the reminder for a while.

It’s one of the best ways to keep track of your important notifications. But unfortunately, one of the important messages, which is System Update, cannot be saved. Because it’s a system utility and Boomerang Notifications doesn’t track system notifications. That’s a downside for an otherwise excellent app.
