When I bought the Samsung Galaxy S, I was impressed with the level of customization it offered. After all, it was my first Android! However, one thing that I don’t like is the lock screen. By default, Samsung offers a swipe glass lock screen. While it does serve the purpose of the lock screen, it’s not as great as the iPhone lock screen or HTC Sense. That’s not all, one cannot change it without rooting and installing mods from recovery, which makes things even more difficult.
Personally, I never hesitate to go the extra mile to try new things but there are many people who wouldn’t ruin their precious device just because of a lock screen. Of course, a new lock screen is always a good option, but there has to be an easy way to do it, right? Well, guess what, there it is!

Steps to change Android lock screen
Step 1: Download and install MagicLocker Main app from Android Play Store on your Android smartphone. The app requires Android version 2.2 or higher to work.

My judgment
No need to root and install custom ROMs, and with over 170 free themes to choose from, MagicLocker is a really cool app. Most themes are free, but you may have to pay for some premium themes. I’ve been using MagicLocker for quite some time now, and with so many options in the free section, I never thought of paying for one.
