Why can’t I watch the reels on Instagram?

How do I use Instagram Stories?
To use Instagram Stories, open your stories camera and swipe to Stories.
Instead of just having two options (Live and Story) on your story camera, there’s a third option (Movie) on the tab below.
You can create a Story by accessing Stories from your Story Camera. Go to your story camera by swiping left or tapping the “camera” icon on the home page.
Currently, Instagram Reels is not listed on the main camera (the “+” icon) and you can only access it via your story camera.
When you open Stories on your story cam, there are four options on the left side of your screen—sound, speed, effects, and timer.
Audio lets you choose a song to be played, and Speed lets you slow down or speed up your video (0.3x to 3x).
Effects, on the other hand, are filters you can use and Timer lets you choose how long you want the video to take.
If you’re using the effects feature, you can scroll to the end to find hundreds of other filters you can use.
Tip: Scroll to the bottom of the effects section to browse through hundreds of other filters you can use from the “Effect Gallery” created by others.
There’s also an Alignment feature so you can align yourself on your next shot, which is great for transitions.
Once you’ve recorded your Story, you can tap the back button to watch it again, but you can only delete your latest clip.
Once reviewed, tap the forward button and you can edit the video just like an Instagram Story (ex: add stickers, GIFs, text).
If you’re using text on your video, you can edit the length of the text, similar to TikTok.
Finally, tap the forward button when you’re done editing and you’ll be redirected to the Share screen. On it, you can select the cover of your Story and share it with your feed or story.
Where are Reels on Instagram?
Stories are placed on your feed and on Instagram’s discovery page. If you’re browsing your feed, you can tell you’re watching a Story from the icon at the bottom right of the video that says “Watch Story”.
You can also find them on a person’s profile by tapping the “Movies” icon on the top navigation tab.
