Claire Liu first opened her eyes on May 25, 2000 in Thousand Oaks, United States. She is the daughter of Chinese immigrants Wen Liu and Longbin Liu. She has one sibling, a sister called Eleanor Liu.
Liu’s tennis career began when she was very young. She participated in the junior career and had really impressive stats. In 2016, she won a junior Grand Slam doubles title at Wimbledon with partner Usue Arconada.
