The second post-launch Warbond for Helldivers 2 is just around the corner. It’s called Democratic Detonation and it’s set to bring some more explosive firepower to the hands of divers.
Eschewing the typical battle pass systems of contemporary multiplayer games, Helldivers 2 opts for Warbonds that let you pick your rewards as you work through them. Plus, they never disappear, so you can still earn everything even a year from now.

When does the Democratic Detonation Warbond release?
The Warbond is confirmed to be released on April 11, 2024. This is standard, as each monthly Warbond is set to launch on the second Thursday of each month.
It will cost 1000 Super Credits and comes with three pages of items to unlock.
What’s in the Democratic Detonation Warbond?
Much like the Cutting Edge Warbond that came before it, Democratic Detonation is set to add a series of new weapons, armour sets, utilities, player banners, and more.
The official trailer showcases most of these, while the rest can be seen in the graphic above from the Helldivers Alerts Twitter account. We’ll break them down below based on what we know so far:
Weapons
- BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle – An armour-penetrating assault rifle that’s best against smaller groups of enemies
- R-36 Eruptor Rifle – A bolt-action rifle that fires jet-assisted shells that explode shrapnel in all directions on impact
- CB-9 Exploding Crossbow – Dishes out powerful exploding bolts that deal tonnes of damage on direct impact
Utilities
- GP-31 Grenade Pistol – This is a secondary weapon that lets fire grenades, though it must be reloaded after each shot
- Expert Extraction Pilot Booster – Lowers the time it takes for the extraction shuttle to reach the extraction beacon and get you out of harm’s way
- G-123 Thermite – From what we saw in the trailer, this appears to be a grenade designed specifically to bust armour, with it proving very effective at removing the shell off a Charger
Armour
- CE-27 Ground Breaker – Medium armour with a protective skirt and the signature yellow of the Helldivers
- CE-07 Demolition Specialist – Light armour with a black and orange colour screen, accented by an angular white stripe in the middle
- FS-55 Devastator – Heavy armour that resembles the real-life juggernaut armour designs with maximum protection
