Instagram says this post is unavailable because the post has been deleted.
The post, on the other hand, is archived by the original poster.
If the post belongs to a private account and you don’t follow them, that post won’t be available either.
Another reason is that the post may be taken down by Instagram for violating its community guidelines.
A post that is unavailable on Instagram means that it has been deleted or archived.
It could also mean that the original poster’s account was private, or that the post was taken down by Instagram.
Otherwise, the person has deactivated their account, blocked you, or added an age restriction.
1. Post has been deleted
If the post is deleted, you and the person sharing it will not be able to see it.
Unless you or the sharer took a screenshot of the post, you won’t be able to see it anymore.
Deleting an Instagram post will be moved to “Recently Deleted”.
Posts in the “Recently Deleted” section will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
2. Post has been archived
Instagram allows users to archive their posts.
Once a post is archived, it is hidden from the user’s profile.
Therefore, the post will not be available if it is shared in a chat.
The only way you can see that post again is if the person unarchives the post.
3. It’s a private account
If the post belongs to a private account and you don’t follow them, you won’t be able to see the post.

4. Post has been taken down

If a post violates community guidelines, it will be taken down by Instagram.
Therefore, if a post is unavailable, it may be taken down.
5. Deactivated, blocked or age-restricted
If an account is deactivated or deleted, all of that account’s posts will be deleted.
If you are blocked, you will not be able to see the user’s posts.
An age-restricted post will prevent you from viewing it unless you are 18 or older.
To verify your age, go to your account settings, select “Personal information” and add your date of birth.
To fix Posts Not Available on Instagram, ask the sharer to take a screenshot of the post and send it to you.
This works if the post belongs to a private account and you can’t see it.
If neither you nor the sharer can see the post, it means the post has been archived, deleted, or taken down.
