Enable or Disable Time Sensitive Notifications Using Focus Settings

Now that we know more about Time Sensitive Notifications, let us understand how to enable or disable them using the Focus Mode settings on your iPhone. This will allow sensitive notifications to break through, even when your device is on DND. Follow the below steps to do it.

Note: If you’re using multiple Focus Modes, you must enable Time Sensitive Notifications separately to ensure these notifications are visible.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on Focus.

Step 2: Here, tap on the Focus Mode you wish to edit.

Step 3: Tap on Apps.

Turn On or Off Time Sensitive Notifications Using Emergency Bypass Settings

By default, Emergency Bypass notifications are categorized as the highest-priority notifications. This means that as long as a contact is set to Emergency Bypass, they can contact you even if your device is on silent or on DND.

Additionally, these notifications will have a higher priority than Time Sensitive Notifications. Once the contact is removed, they will be delegated to the normal notification category.

1. Can you disable iPhone Time Sensitive Notifications for a certain period?
