Samsung’s One UI Android skin is very popular among users due to the customization options offered. One of them is the ability to hide extraneous apps from the home screen and app drawer. This method can be useful when you want to hide work apps from home. You won’t want to be bothered by irrelevant notifications when playing with your little one. Similarly, you can hide entertainment apps during office hours.
1. Using One UI Setup
Unlike Pixel launcher, you have default option to hide apps on Single UI. Here’s how to use it to hide apps on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Samsung phone.
Step 2: Scroll down to the Home screen.
Step 3: Tap that and open Hide Apps from the following menu.
Step 4: You can search for apps using the search menu at the top, or use alphabetical order to jump to apps.
Step 5: Once you select the apps, you will see them at the top.
Step 6: Tap Done and you’re ready to go.

Unhide apps from one UI

By default, Samsung hides Secure Folder from the app drawer. First enable it from the notification menu.
Step 1: Use the swipe down from the home screen and open the notification center.
Step 2: Find a Secure Folder from the list and enable it.
Step 3: You will find the Secure Folder shortcut on the home page.
Step 4: Open Secure Folder and tap the + icon at the top.
Step 5: You can either download the app from the Google Play Store or the Galaxy App Store, or select the app from your phone.
Step 6: Select the app you want to hide and click Add at the bottom.
You’ll see the added apps on the Secure Folder home screen. You can re-enter the notification area and disable Secure Folder from the home screen.
Next time you want to access the app, enable Secure Folder from the notification area, access the app through authentication and use hidden apps.
3. Use a Third-Party Launcher
