Karl-Anthony Towns Girlfriend: Who Is Jordyn Woods?

Dominican-American basketball player, Karl-Anthony Towns was born on November 15th, 1995 in Edison, New Jersey in the United States of America.

He was born to a Dominican mother named Jacqueline Cruz

and an African-American father, Karl Towns Sr. He shares the same parents with his two siblings; Malaika Singleton-Towns and Lachelle Towns.

He was raised in Piscataway, New Jersey, and graduated from Lake Nelson Seventh-Day Adventist School in 2009. The next year, he transferred from Our Lady of Fatima School to Theodore Schor Middle School.

He retook seventh grade at Theodore Schor to obtain an additional year of development. Towns’ father was a basketball player for Monmouth University and coached the junior varsity squad at Piscataway Technical High School when the precocious Towns was in fifth grade.

Towns was chosen by the Minnesota Timberwolves as the first overall choice in the 2015 NBA Draft on June 25, 2015. On July 7, he agreed to a rookie-scale contract with the Timberwolves, and on October 28, he made his NBA debut in the Timberwolves’ 112-111 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in the team’s season opener. He started the game with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

In a 106-94 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on January 20, 2016, Towns had a season-high game with 27 points and career-highs of 17 rebounds and six blocks. He received his third straight recognition as the Western Conference Rookie of the Month on February 2. On February 10, he beat the Toronto Raptors 117-112 while scoring a then-career-high 35 points.

Towns surpassed Kevin Love’s previous mark of 734 and set a Minnesota rookie rebounding record on March 25 when he pulled down 10 boards against the Washington Wizards, bringing his season total to 741. In a 105-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings on April 7, he notched his 50th double-double of the year with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

His 22 first-quarter points were also only two short of Chauncey Billups’ franchise-best 24 first-quarter points.

On his birthday, November 15, 2017, Towns contributed 26 points and 16 rebounds for Minnesota, helping the Timberwolves beat the San Antonio Spurs 98-86 to snap a 12-game losing skid.
