1. View Song Credits
This feature was made available with the release of Apple Music Classical on iPhone. You can check the detailed song credits, including categories like performing artists, songwriting and lyrics, and production and engineering. Now this feature is also available for Apple Music users. Here’s how to view song credits in Apple Music on your iPhone.
Step 1: Open the Apple Music app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Start playing the song whose credits you want to check.
Step 3: Tap the three dots next to the song name on the playback screen and select View Credits.
You can check the detailed credits for the song being played.
2. Crossfade Songs in Apple Music
Another highly requested feature is the ability to Crossfade songs in Apple Music on your iPhone. This feature was already available for Android users of Apple Music. It makes way to the iPhone amongst the list of the new Apple Music features. Simply put, Crossfade will fade at the beginning of each song as the previous song fades out gradually while coming to its end. This creates a seamless transition between multiple songs played in one go on the Apple Music app. Here’s how to turn on Crossfade on Apple Music on your iPhone.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Music.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap the toggle next to Crossfade to enable the feature.
You can also change the length of the Crossfade transition.
Now close the Settings app and open Apple Music to enjoy your favorite tracks without any pauses.
3. Collaborative Playlists
The next feature of Apple Music introduced with iOS 17 is Collaborative Playlists. You can make a Collaborative Playlist on Apple Music for a shared listening experience amongst your friends. Earlier, you were always required to share the playlist link with your friends. But with Collaborative Playlists, you can invite your friends to join a playlist where anyone can add, reorder or remove songs. You can even react using emojis when your friend plays something from the playlist.

As of writing this post, this feature will be made available for all iPhone users later this year with an update.
If you have a vehicle that supports Apple CarPlay, you can now use the SharePlay feature in Apple Music. This was made available for iPhone and iPad users. But with iOS 17, you can now use it while driving with your friends and family in your car.

When you enable SharePlay, the other passengers will receive a prompt on their iPhones to join the listening session and control the music playback as per their choices. The passengers need to have iOS 17 installed on their iPhones to receive the prompt.
5. Animated Music Player
Lastly, the new Apple Music update now features an Animated Music Player. The interface will show a blended album art with media controls. You can see visual animated effects while playing your favorite songs or background scores.
