How to watch Netflix viewing activity
Here’s how you can see all of a profile’s Netflix viewing activity in one place. Follow the step-by-step instructions as outlined in this section. Note that you can only view your Netflix viewing history on a web browser, and if you’re on a phone, we’ll address this later in this article.
Step 1: Open the Account page on Netflix. Use the link below.
You can open the link in a web browser on your PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, or any other device.
Step 2: Select the profile for which you want to check the viewing history.
Step 3: Click View Activity.
Step 4: Now you can check view activity for selected Profile. When scrolling down, you can also see older view activities.

How to remove items from Netflix viewing to reset the progress of watching a series or movie
If you want to remove an item from your Netflix watch history, you can use the hide option on the same page. This is the way.
Step 1: Open the Account page on Netflix. Use the link below.
Step 2: Select the profile for which you want to check the viewing history.
Step 3: Click View Activity.
Step 4: Tap the hide button next to the title you want to remove from your Netflix viewing history.
You will now receive a confirmation message that this item has been hidden from your watch history.
However, if you want to delete your entire viewing history on Netflix, deleting items one by one is a rather tedious process. Thankfully, we have the option to hide all viewing activity at once.
How to delete all watching activity on Netflix and mark shows and movies as unwatched
Here’s how you can hide all items from your viewing on Netflix.

Step 2: Select the profile for which you want to delete the viewing history.
Step 3: Tap View Activity.
Step 4: Click Hide All.
Step 5: Tap ‘Yes. hide all my view activity to confirm.
All your viewing will be deleted on Netflix. However, to maintain an offline record of your viewing history on Netflix, you may consider downloading your Netflix viewing activity.
Download all viewing activity
Here’s how you can download your viewing activity to keep a local recording before resetting your Netflix viewing history.
Step 1: Open the Account page on Netflix. Use the link below.
You can open the link in a web browser on your PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, or any other device.
Step 2: Select the profile you want to download viewing history to.
Step 3: Click View Activity.
Step 4: Click Download all.
Step 5: At this point, the CSV file will be downloaded. You can open it with Microsoft Excel to see your viewing history.
As mentioned earlier, these options are not available on the iPhone and Android mobile apps. You can only access your watch history and delete or download it only on a web browser. However, there are a few things you can do on the mobile app, and here’s what you need to know.
Netflix Watch History on Mobile App: How to Check Watch History on Device and Recently Watched on Phone
While you can’t see your entire watch history on the mobile app, you can view device history – meaning all devices accessing your account and recent watch history here, showing all the movies and shows you watched recently watched.
Note: You can also test these on a web browser and the process remains the same.

Step 2: Click on Account.
Step 3: Tap on ‘Manage device and access permissions’.
Step 4: You can check all active sessions and devices in your Netflix account.

After opening the Netflix app and scrolling down a bit, you should be able to see a row of titles categorized as ‘Continue Watch’. This includes all recently watched movies and shows, and you can scroll to the right to see more movies and shows.
While it may not be as comprehensive as the viewing history option on the website, it is still something and will definitely help you keep track of what you’ve watched recently.
How to remove shows and movies from my list
Thankfully, removing TV shows and movies from My List is easy. And you can also do it from your Android or iPhone.

Open the Netflix app on your phone, tap the Categories option, and select My Lists. Select the TV show or movie you want to delete.
Tap the checkmark above “My List” to remove the show or movie from your list.
On the desktop
The desktop site allows you to remove some programs easily. Here you can scroll and view the titles easily.
To remove it, hover over the title to see details. Next, click the Delete icon.
