How to use Truecaller Assistant
Like the rest of the Truecaller app, using the Truecaller Assistant is simple.

Step 1: After you install it, open the Truecaller app on your phone and go to the Assistant tab.

Step 3: After activating Assistant, it will screen your next call. The way it happens is slightly different on Android than on iPhone. On Android, the Assistant button will appear below the caller ID when you receive a call. Tap the ‘Allow Assistant to take calls’ button to forward the call. The assistant will answer the caller and ask why they called. If it’s a call you need to answer, you can tap the Receive button at the bottom to answer. If not, you can tap for more information via the ‘Explain why’ button on live chat.

If the Assistant is active and you reject the call (or the call is not answered), the Assistant will take the call. You can tap the bubble at the top of the page to switch to live chat.
