devil 4 allows you to add gems to add awesome status effects to your gear and weapons. However, once they are placed in each socket, they get stuck in the gun. It’s pretty annoying if you find a better gem on your trip. Fortunately, there is a way to unlock gems in devil 4- you just need to go to a specific place to do it.
Where to unscrew gems in Diablo 4

To unscrew gems in devil 4, get to level 20 (you can level up fast). Once you have reached that requirement, a quest called “Gem Crafting” will appear. Finish it and you will then be able to access jewelers in big cities throughout the open world. They are indicated on the map with a gem symbol.
Talk to any jeweler and switch the tab to the “Disconnect” section with the R2 or RT button. Now, select the equipment you want to extract gems from. Please note that there is a cost for each operation. For example, with my Scowling Wrath Rare Helm, there is a 4,726 Gold extraction cost.

What else can the jeweler do?

The jeweler does more than disassemble gems in devil 4. They can also add slots to a weapon, ring, or piece of gear. This means that you can use the gems you have collected for additional stat bonuses. However, it is expensive. To add a socket to a level 19 ancient drop rare ring, I need 13,989 gold and a scattered prism. The latter can be obtained from defeated world bosses.
Also, you can craft gems with the jeweler. while you explore devil 4‘s, you will get raw crystals like Crude Amethyst. You will need three to make a Chipped Amethyst which can be added to your weapons and gear. It costs around 4500 gold to perform this task with the jeweler.
Lastly, you can upgrade accessories like charms and rings to enhance the stat boosts they offer. For example, my Gale Star can be upgraded with 1% more resistance to all elements, 3.4% more damage reduction from distant enemies, and 2.1% less spiritual cost reduction. A level one upgrade costs just 800 gold and five iron chunks.
