From time to time, Android apps receive updates from the Play Store. Most are 3rd party apps updated by their own developers, but there are quite a few Google apps in there as well. There is nothing more humble and useful than the Google Search app.

Before it is updated and released to the world, most app developers want to release their beta version to a wider audience for testing.
Google recently made a beta version of its Search app available to beta testers. So how do you become one?
Register
The first step to becoming a beta tester is to sign up for the service. Google has created an opt-in page if you want to join their beta testing program. The main thing to remember here is to use the same gmail id as your primary id on the Play Store. Because that’s where you’ll update the Search app after you sign up.
fight BECOME A CHECKER button is all it takes to be a beta tester.
Go to Play Store
Once signed up, you’ll see an option at the bottom asking you to go to the Play Store and update the Search app. Click here and sure enough, you will see the update ready and waiting for you.
After you update the app, you are ready to go. You can launch the Search app as usual and test the functionality in an updated version of the app. If there are future updates, beta testers will be the first in line to get them. Cool, right?
Check it out
The whole point of the beta testing program is to gather information from the testers and improve the app. If there’s something you feel could improve the app, this is your chance.
You should note them all in one place and give Google your feedback, rather than bothering later when the final version comes out. (Check email id in first screenshot)
Error is expected
Of course, this is just the beta version of the app. So expect some bugs to still be there. That said, you have to understand that these errors are just part of the Google Search app itself. Don’t start worrying about the fact that your phone is broken. It does not have.
If you still feel like you don’t want to live with the hassle of testing a beta app or this app in particular, you can always go to the opt-out page and do the necessary things.
