Playing split-screen in Fortnite is a newly added feature, so we have outlined below what you need to do to set up couch co-op:
- Once in Fortnite, go to the main menu
- Make sure to have two controllers connected
- Invite the second player to the game
- They can then select their account
- Once both have you have joined you will be good to go into the game, with split-screen activated once you dive in
Once this is all set up, you’re good to keep playing games until you get the crown or decide it is time to move on.

What Fortnite modes can you use split-screen in?

Split-screen in Fortnite can be used in Duos, Trios and Squads. It is not available in solos because it would allow players to cheat and team up in the mode.
