Rachel Riley Social Media: Rachel Riley, officially known as Rachel Annabelle Riley is a British television presenter.
She developed a passion for journalism at a younger age, has been consistent throughout her career, and has become one of the most sought-after television presenters.
At this time of writing (Saturday, August 19, 2023), Riley co-presents the Channel 4 daytime puzzle show Countdown and its comedy spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
Her television debut came when she joined Countdown aged 22. From September 2013, she appeared in the 11th series of the Strictly Come Dancing
Riley was eliminated from the BBC celebrity dance show in week 6 of the show, on 3 November 2013.

In August 2023, the Countdown co-host hit major headlines after stating that she’ll stop supporting Manchester United if Mason Greenwood stays at the club.
Riley also revealed she no longer owns a Manchester United shirt gifted to her by Ryan Giggs.
Mason Greenwood has not played for the Premier League giants since his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, assault, and coercive control.
All charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February this year, though he’s still suspended by Man United pending the result of an internal investigation.
An announcement from United on Greenwood was expected before Monday, August 14 Premier League opener against Wolves but was delayed.
In a statement on Wednesday, August 16, United said the “fact-finding phase” of their investigation was now complete.
They added a decision about Greenwood’s future – which “ultimately rests” with chief executive officer Richard Arnold – was in the final stages.
Riley re-posted a short video of a United fan giving her thoughts to The News Agents podcast where she said she would ‘walk away from the club’ if Greenwood returns.
