Where are the unicorn horns in CAS?

To find the unicorn horn in create-a-sim, you need to click on the horse’s head instead of its body. A list of facial options will appear, including the ‘Horn’ category.
For now, there’s only one horn option (with a version available for foals), but you have multiple different color swatches to choose from.
Simply equip it to your horse to transform it. However, if you’re struggling to make a unicorn, all you need to do is check out our CAS tips below.
How to make a Unicorn in CAS in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch

There is no set rule for making a unicorn, once you apply the horn to any horse it will change its voice to sound more ethereal and flash in game and CAS.
However, if you’re struggling to find your creative spark, we’ve listed easy ways to make a unicorn using the create-a-sim presets.
- Start by choosing if you want the horse to be a stallion or a mare.
- From the breed menu you can select any you like, if you’re after that pure unicorn aesthetic then the Andalusian is a good base.
- Enhance the ethereal look by going to head options, click on ‘Muzzle’ and select the third option, this will remove any coloring.
- While you’re still in the head options, click the ‘Horn’ tab and select a unicorn horn you like, we’ve opted for a pastel rainbow swatch to fully commit to the fantasy look. Otherwise, you could keep the white horses fur and horn if you prefer to have a more traditional looking unicorn.

- Click on the body options and select the ‘Layer Color and Pattern’ option. Scroll down and you will see a rainbow preset and a pink preset with yellow sparkles. Both are great base options for a fantasy unicorn, or you can keep the unicorn white and more traditional.
- For the hair options, we’ve opted to keep the fluffy Andalusian mane and tail, but also added feathers to the feet for even more fluff.

- We also went with a smaller Forelock option (4th on up) to avoid cutting with the unicorn horn.
- For the bridle and saddle, we’ve chosen pastel pink and white options to complement the coat.
- Trait-wise, Free Spirit, Independent, and Intelligent work well in the mythology that unicorns are distant, mystical, and isolated creatures, but this is entirely optional.

In the image above you can see three types of unicorns made with these CAS presets. One rainbow, one pink with sparkles and one traditional pure white unicorn.

How to make a unicorn foal at CAS in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch

Foals born from unicorns cannot receive the horn, so it will be a normal horse until you equip it via CAS.
To do so you will need to enter CAS full edit mode and access the body and facial features options, to read more about the hack visit our guide here.
Once you’re in full CAS mode, equip the smaller horn in the “Horns” tab and your foal will complete its transformation into a baby unicorn, complete with unicorn sparkles and neighs.
