Think about Facebook, Twitter or any brand for a moment. What is the first thing that comes to your mind regarding them? Their logo. A logo is important to a brand. That’s how people remember and recall your brand.
Usually, a logo should be made from a professional designer. But if your resources are limited and you are a good designer yourself, then you can try out the tools available to you. Are not. We’re not talking about Photoshop or GIMP. You can create a logo in the pre-installed drawing app on your Windows 10 system. The new drawing application, called Paint 3D, is an upgraded version of MS Paint.
If you are wondering, how is that possible? Well, fasten your seat belt as this section will show you how to create a logo on your Windows 10 system using Paint 3D app.
Create Logo in Paint 3D
Here’s what you need to do.
Step 1: Launch Paint 3D application on your PC and click the New button on the welcome screen. Alternatively, click on the Menu option and select New from it.

Step 2: On a blank canvas, draw your logo design. Now, using the tools provided by Paint 3D to draw the logo is up to your creativity.
Here are some tools at your disposal:
2D shape
Paint 3D provides several elements (lines and curves) to draw the shapes you choose. You can even choose from certain set of shapes like circle, rectangle, arrow, etc.
To add a 2D shape, click on the 2D shape option at the top and draw or select a shape from the right.
The problem with 2D shapes is that once you’re done editing the element, you can’t further edit or change the element’s position. That’s where 3D shapes come in to help.
3D Shapes
3D shapes not only allow you to edit elements at any time, but also give a realistic feel. To add such objects, click on the 3D shape at the top and select the shape of your choice. You can also draw your figure using 3D doodles. Use the drop-down box on the right to add effects to the object.
Tip: 
You can even combine 2D and 3D shapes or add 2D shapes to a 3D object. As I told you before, it all depends on what you want from your logo.

stickers
I love Paint 3D stickers. That’s because these stickers automatically attach to 3D objects. As a result, your logo has more depth. To add a sticker, click on the Stickers option at the top and select a sticker. You can even add custom stickers from your laptop (more on that below in the bounty segment).
Once you’ve selected your sticker, draw it onto the 3D shape. Then adjust it to your liking. For example, in the following image, I used a sun sticker and added it to a 3D shape.
Insert text
Similar to 2D and 3D shapes, you can add 2D and 3D text. All properties of 3D shapes are also true for 3D text. That is, you can change the angle, depth, sticker to suit it and edit it at any time.
Step 3: When the final design of your logo is ready, click the Crop icon at the top and erase the excess areas with the dotted box.

Step 4: Click on the Menu option at the top and select Save As from that option, then select Image Format.
Step 5: This step is very important. If you don’t follow it, your logo will have a white background. So to make the image transparent, check the box next to Transparency.
However, we are not done yet. Saving it in a format that retains transparency is also necessary. To do that, we use the PNG format, which is different from other image formats like JPG because it keeps transparency alive. To save the logo as a PNG, select PNG (image) from the drop-down box included in Save As.
Step 6: Finally, press the Save button and choose the folder where you want to save your logo.
Bonus tip: Add custom stickers
You can add custom stickers in Paint 3D in two ways — create from an existing image or download stickers from your PC.
Create stickers from pictures
If you like a certain part of an image and want it to be your sticker, open the image in Paint 3D. Then highlight the section with the Select tool. Click Create Sticker on the right.
When using the above method, the sticker will have a background image. You can first remove the background from an image in Paint 3D, then convert it to a sticker.
When you click Create Sticker, open the image where you want to add the sticker. Then click on Stickers at the top and tap the rightmost icon below it on the right side. Here you will find all your custom stickers.
Add Stickers from PC
If you already have stickers on your PC, just click on the Stickers present in the top bar. Then click on the rightmost icon and hit the Add sticker option. Navigate to the image that you want to load as a sticker.
Don’t complicate
As they say, ‘simplicity wins over everything.’ It’s good practice to have a simple, memorable logo. However, that doesn’t mean the logo should be bland. It should be interesting enough to make a lasting first impression. After all, the first impression is the last impression.
